Easy ZOOM BLUR in DaVinci Resolve 20 - Alli shows you how to do a quick and easy zoom blur in DaVinci Resolve as well as how to move keyframes!
GENERATED CAPTIONS:I'm going to show you how to do a blur zoom in Da Vinci Resolve.
So, we're in the edit page and we have this clip here, and to make it a little more interesting, I would like it to blur zoom in. Let's open up effects and, with toolbox selected, search for adjustment clip. Drag it onto the V2 track here.
Bring your cursor to the part of the clip that you'd like to show as normal. So, I'm going to see how the zoom blur landing on this frame looks. Next, in the search bar, type zoom blur. And if you're not seeing it, that's because you actually have to select open effects. There it is. Let's drag it onto our adjustment clip.
With it selected in the inspector here, you can see that zoom blur is turned on, and by default, it's set to 400. Let's click on these numbers. And you can either scroll right or left, but instead I'm just going to click and choose zero. Okay, great. Let's also make sure that we click on the key frame here. Now it's red, so that at this particular frame, the zoom amount is zero.
Now I'll drag my cursor a few frames over to the left, actually right at the beginning. And I'm going to drag the zoom amount up to around 7.3. When I let go, another key frame has been automatically saved. Let's check this out.
Okay, I'm pretty happy with that. But a quick tip is, if you want to move one of your key frames over so that your zoom blur happens quicker or slower, all you got to do is click here on the show key frame tray. There we go. We can now see the parameters down here. So you can click this little key frame where it says zoom amount and, for example, move it over left or right.
I'm just going to move it over to the right way more, which is going to produce a slower zoom. Okay, let's check that out. And there you go. That's a super quick and easy way to do a zoom blur in Resolve.
Some videos I highly recommend you check out after this one, I'm going to link right here. Have yourself a lovely day and we'll see you in the next video.
